On April 23, 2025 (Wednesday), the Institute of China and Contemporary Asia of the Russian Academy of Sciences (ICCA RAS) will host the international scientific conference “Humanitarian cooperation of the Asia-Pacific countries”, organized by the Center for Scientific Monitoring and Development of the ICCA RAS.
The conference, dedicated to the situation in the countries of the Asia-Pacific region, will consider issues of humanitarian cooperation between them, including the spheres of cultural, educational, scientific, sports, and tourism interaction. During the period of global turbulence, a number of countries face a situation of political confrontation, however, their humanitarian contacts remain active. The relevance of the factor of humanitarian cooperation at the present stage seems important both for the development of relations between friendly states and for maintaining contacts between opposing ones. Particular attention will be paid to the humanitarian ties of the Russian Federation with other countries of the Asia-Pacific region.
Conference languages: Russian, English (for foreign participants).
Format: in-person (location: Academic Council Hall of the ICCA RAS) and online (via Zoom platform).

The deadline for speakers is April 9, 2025, for participants without papers – April 16, 2025. In case of remote access, the link will be sent to the e-mail address specified in the form.
The Organizing Committee makes decisions on the inclusion of papers in the plan of the conference based on the relevance of the topic, quality and relevance of the authors’ abstracts. The duration of the presentation is up to 10 minutes.
Based on the results of the conference, the Organizing Committee is planning to publish a collection of the abstracts of the conference, which will be posted in the Russian Index of Science Citation.
